To keep Seymour Shaw Park a ground the community is proud of, and to remain one of the strongest clubs in the Shire.
About
The Miranda Magpies have been part of the Sutherland Shire since 1956. We were a foundation member of the Sutherland Shire Junior Cricket Association when junior competition first started in the Shire, and we won our first senior premiership in 1960/61.
Since then, the club has grown into one of the most successful cricket clubs in the region. Across our history we have won 91 junior premierships and 29 senior premierships, a record that reflects decades of hard work, great coaching, and players who love the game.But the premierships only tell part of the story.
The Magpies have always been a community club. Families have grown up here. Kids who played their first game of cricket on a Saturday morning have gone on to coach the next generation. We have had players come through at age five in Pop-Up Blast and still be pulling on the whites in the senior competition fifteen years later.
Today we offer cricket for every stage of the journey. Woolworths Pop-Up Blast for kids aged 5 to 10. Junior Club Cricket for boys and girls aged 9 to 18 competing in the SSJCA competition. Senior cricket for men and women in the SSCA competition.
All skill levels welcome. All ages welcome. That has always been the Magpies way.

Miranda Magpies Cricket Club have been part of the Sutherland Shire since 1956 one of the region's oldest clubs, and growing again.
