Miranda Magpies - A Proud History
The Miranda Magpies Cricket Club started in 1957-58 and was a foundation member of the Sutherland Shire Junior Cricket Association, which commenced junior cricket competitions in the Shire in the same year.
The Magpies were not a foundation member of the Men’s competition, which first started in 1921-22, disbanded after the 1936-37 season and reformed in 1947-48. We won our first senior premiership in 1960/61.

We have won an amazing 91 junior and 29 senior premierships. Hopefully some of this history of the Club will give our players past and present a sense of the legacy and history that they are both part of and are creating.
